Lanie DeJarnatte- Owner & Instructor
Lanie has studied ballet for fifteen years under Peggie Wallis and the Houston Ballet Academy. She has also been trained in modern, jazz, contemporary dance, and various other forms of dance. She earned her associates with the Royal Academy of Dance in London and completed the syllabus from the American Academy of Dance. She has been teaching pole fitness since 2011, and is working on becoming an instructor for lyra and aerial silks. Currently she is attending the University of Arkansas, studying Applied Kinesiology and eventually plans to get her Masters in Athletic Training.
Sally Ashcraft - Business Partner & Instructor
Sally is a Brand Manager for a major food company in Northwest Arkansas, an active member of the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas, past Board President and Executive Director of the Northwest Arkansas Dance Coalition, and co-founder of a new dance non-profit, The Pineapple Tree Dance Company, which is a contemporary ballet company. Now she can add Pole & Aerial Fitness Studio business partner to her resume. Sally began her dance training at the Connie Booth School of Dance in Southern Arkansas in 1985. She has received dance training over the years from the Pine Bluff School of Ballet (1993 – 1999), The Fayetteville Dance Center (1999 – current), Dancebase and the Manor School of Ballet in Edinburgh, Scotland (2001), and The North Carolina Dance Theatre in Charlotte (2000). She also performed as an aerialist with the Zoppe Circus, a small Italian circus based in Conway, Arkansas, during her teenage years. She continues her ballet training at the Fayetteville Dance Center, and takes pole and pilates classes several times a week. Sally has been teaching ballet and setting concert and competition choreography on dancers of all ages since 1999, at various local studios in the area. Sally is passionate about dance and fitness, and she encourages others to lose their anxiety about who is watching - join the dance, be active, and move every day!
Riley Warren - Co-Founder & Instructor
Riley has both a Bachelors of Music and Masters of Music from the University of Arkansas and a Masters of Music from Florida State University. Riley began taking pole dance fitness classes in 2011, and started teaching in early 2013. Riley enjoys the artistry in pole dancing. She finds pole dancing to be the perfect vehicle for self expression, in addition to being an excellent workout. She was a finalist in the Semi-Pro division of the North American Pole Dance Championships in 2014 and 2015, and was a performer in the 8th Annual Mynx Pole Dancing Extravaganza. She has taken privately from nationally recognized performers and competitors such as Phoenix Kazree, as well as attended workshops taught by Alethea Austin, Fontaine, Jamilla Deville, Miss Filly, Marlo Fisken, Evgeny Greshilov, Karol Helms, Sarah Jade, Mary Kolacinski, David C Owen, Porsche, Rachele Ribera, Nadia Shariff, Michelle Stanek, Anastasia Skukhtorova, and Estee Zakar. She has also completed her Fly Gym level 1 certification with Karol Helms.
Laura Ahrens - Instructor
Laura is a Univeristy of Arkansas graduate with a BA and MA in Geography. She started taking pole in 2012 and teaching in 2014. She likes the challenge physically and artistry that come with pole dancing. She is also an avid acro yoga fan, lyra, and silks enthusiast.
Lauren O'reilly - Instructor
Lauren has a Bachelors of Arts degree in pyschology from the University of Arkansas, she is currently working on her Masters of Science in rehabilitation counseling at the University of Arkansas. Lauren is currently working as a behavioral intervention specialist at a guidence facility. Lauren has been taking pole lessons since late 2012, and has been a teacher since 2014. Lauren has also trained in dance, fly gym, aerial silks, and is currently being trained in lyra. Lauren has had the opportunity to train with several national performers such as Alethea Austin, Crystal Belcher, Danielle Romano, Jamilla Deville, Rachele Ribera, and Mary Kolacinski.
Jordan Rayne- Instructor
Jordan started taking pole dance classes in 2013 with no dance or gymnastic background. She began Fly Gym shortly after and has more recently begun cross-training by taking Pilates, ballet, and acrobatics so that she can eventually compete in pole dancing. When she's not training, she works as a Jewelry Designer for HPerry Jewelers and is a wedding/boudoir photographer for her business, Jordan Rayne Creative. Jordan is constantly learning about the body so that she can excel in injury-prevention and safety. she believes that discipline and patience are key to living a healthy active lifestyle.
